250th Relocation With ScanMovers Direct

Moving platform ScanMovers.com has carried out its 250th move with ScanMovers Direct on Tuesday February 5. The milestone was achieved with a move from Maastricht to Riemst in Belgium, using two movers and one moving truck of 20m³ for a period of four hours. The move went smoothly.

ScanMovers Direct is a new service from ScanMovers, where consumers can book a moving package for a fixed period and a fixed price. It is not necessary to make a detailed inventory first, the affiliated moving companies work with the time and relocations that have been booked. ScanMovers Direct is particularly popular with emergency relocations and smaller relocations.

ScanMovers is an independent online moving platform established in 2016. Consumers can compare and book moving companies directly. ScanMovers also provides the insurance, and helps consumers to make their choice.

In December 2018, the Amsterdam start-up received 750,000 euros in a second investment round, resulting in a total seed capital of 1.25 million euros. ScanMovers focuses on sustainable moving, and is currently working on relocation-apps for consumers and moving companies, to accelerate the relocation process even further.
