Not sure where to start concerning Invictus Relocation… On the only very positive side, we had a great delivery and unpacking team, very friendly and professional! Many thanks to them. For the rest, we had a horrendous experience with Invictus that was the local correspondent for our move from the UAE. Things started well with Vanessa, our first move coordinator who was very proactive and professional to get things ready for the arrival of our container. Unfortunately she left the company and then things went down the drain when Gustavo took over… As our container finally arrived in Lisbonon September 6, he came out of the blue asking for some additional document, even if Vanessa had validated our file a month before… It was the first sign that he had not anticipated at all the arrival of our container, which he kept denying during the whole process. Next we were informed that our container had to go through customs inspection which was very convenient for Invictus, as we had already been informed by them that our delivery to home would not happen in any case for another 17 days, as they were overloaded, even if our contract clearly mentioned that our container was to be delivered straight after customs clearance. Conveniently again, the inspection was postponed for over 10 days further reducing the liability of Invictus for the delay incurred ! Finally we got our container 16 days after it was offloaded. Miraculously the customs clearance happened just before their set delivery date, exonerating them of any liability for the delay. Isn’t life wonderful??! The communication with Gustavo was horrendous, having to pull every answer from him, getting no transparency, not receiving any apology nor any sign of consideration or empathy. We tried to reach out to Fabio the CEO of Invictus but he did not even bother answering our emails. This all leaves a very bitter taste, the impression of having been cheated (to stay polite…) and 4000€ of additional spendings for accommodation and additional demurrages costs… Oh and I forgot : they added 17% of service fees on extra container and port costs, for their lack of service may be ?!!! My advice : stay away from Invictus Relocation, for their lack of professionalism and total absence of consideration for their clients !

Positive: Everything was very well packed and arrived undamaged in Central America. Negative: Unfortunately, my passport was also packed and not found after "two" checks...? My suggestion as to whether I could search the moving boxes again myself was rejected! This caused me a lot of trouble and extra costs. Then Invictus did not inform me about the loading into the container ship. But they sent me two more invoices for storage costs, even though the container was already on its way. There were NO apologies.

I cannot recommend Invictus highly enough. We found ourselves in an extremely difficult situation with another shipping agent. We switched to Invictus at the 11th hour and Antonio Neves and his team turned around the situation and the container cleared customs and was delivered to us in record time. The communication was excellent from start to finish and the delivery team were punctual (to the minute!) friendly and responsible . If you’re moving to Portugal, make sure you entrust your shipment to Invictus.

The export of "dangerous dogs" (our pet Rottweiler) from Portugal to South Africa is a very stressful exercise. The deadlines are very tight, so you need to be on your toes. Ricardo from Invictus is someone I can highly recommend. He is a very patient man and more than happy to get involved with all the issues. He stuck to the task until our dog was safely on the plane even though he was not feeling well himself. Our dog is now safely back in South Africa. Well done Ricardo!!!

Absolute fantastic team work to get 3 Yorkshire Terriers from Portugal to South Africa. The team kept me up to date, responded always very quickly, and most important, understood the situation and worked to make the trip as easy as possible for such little dogs. A big thank you to all the people involved and I would recommend Fabio and his team at Invictus Relocation over and over!

We have moved over 15 times in the US and this was best experience we have ever had. Always responsive to our questions and insured we had all the correct documents for Customs. All of our belongings arrived without damage or breakage. The crew here in Portugal were amazing. Professional, efficient and friendly. They handled our belongings with great care. I would highly recommend Invictus to anyone moving internationally.

Quick, fast, professional The move was very well coordinated and we were always kept informed on the proceedings and the tracking of our belongings. If we had the budget to it, I would have preferred to have the same company delivering our belongings than the company they have an agreement with, here in Denmark.

Very efficient and professional The day of the move was planned with the coordinator of the moving company. The team arrived on time and they packed everything very efficiently and quickly. On arrival, they moved all the goods to the apartment, put everything in the their place and were very efficient as well. The amount paid was the same as the same offered in the quote, so there were no changes in the value until the delivery of the goods.
