The move was professionally executed They are very professional and efficient. We used them to move my mom several years ago and we are now using them to move our personal home in two stages from Uk to Dubai. They are great would not consider using anyone else! Smooth Move I moved 10boxes of different kind of goods by ship: Dubai to Milan. In total the shipping last 12 weeks when the promise was 8-10 but in this pandemic time everything is postponed so absolutely acceptable. The communication step by step with the personal was constant and helpful in every way. They provide the material (that was not enough for so many boxes, so I just buy some more tape and bubbles wrap), I decided to pack and tag every boxes by my self so the company just collect them. All my goods arrive in perfectly condition, not a single box was open or damaged so for that i ‘m completely satisfied. Point of strength: -economic service -professional personal every step of the service -goods untouched -goods manage with caution Weakness: -lack of material for the packaging -delay delivery I definitely recommend this company, don’t get scare if the Name is not so well known as other shipment company (that they cost you double the price) Ancor will surprise you!

The poorest experience ever had Experience start well - box delivered on time - and picked up at the planned date - after instead of shipping the boxes immediately - they keep them around 5 days without any explanation - the boxes have been opened - vandalized and some item stolen - some full boxes arrived half empty at home when full when picked up. Explanation from provider was very poor : lack of detailed list - up to boarder to check ...but no real explanation of things which have been removed and robbed - Lack of dedication - safety and professionalism - Company to be avoided - despite their cost

Terrible - felt like a scam trying to get the shipment Pre-sales service from Acorn in Dubai was very quick and efficient. However, once the goods arrived in the UK, they would not answer calls, emails or whatsapps. It turned out that although they had quoted for storage in the UK, the UK affiliate had not been told about the storage and later delivery needs. This ended up costing an additional £3,000. The afternoon before our shipment was due to be delivered, we received an email from the UK affiliate telling us that our good wouldn't not be delivered and could be sold because Acorn had not been paying their bills. Syed, Mohammed and Naveed would not respond to our calls, messages or emails. If felt like a big con. We have since triggered a debate on the Brits in Dubai facebook page and it turns out other people have had a similar problem. One lady has been waiting four months to get toys back for her kids! Whilst Acorn provided a average priced quote, because of the issues, it ended up being far more expensive and a lot of hassle which involved us issuing a legal letter in the UK and registering a police case Dubai. Avoid at all costs.
