Smart Movers Smart Moves Of Lytham St.Annes: When other removal firms could not move us in time & when others messed us around Smart Moves stepped in. Smart Moves was very helpful & kept us informed all the way, moving us from the Norfolk Fens to the South of France. Smart Moves picked up our stuff on the Wednesday, hoping to deliver late Thursday, but they got delayed on the M25, ran out of hours & missed the tide to catch the ferry. In the end they came across on the Euro-tunnel & got to our new home 5pm on the Friday, this we didn't mind because they told us & explained why they were running late. Steve Hurst & his mate Antony were great, they worked hard, were friendly, professional & the price was good too.

Smart Movers It would have been great to have a bit more notice about the pick up time and especially the delivery date as we had been completely left in the dark until last minute. They had said the delivery would be the same day and that if it was too late that would be early the next morning. It was not mentioned until what time they would deliver. When I asked the mover in the morning if that would be before 9PM (as we could not do after 9PM) and laughed and said "yes of course". However the delivery happened at 9PM and when I said we could attend it, the company threatened me saying that in this case they will charge me for the hotel and the waiting time. Delivery time and should have been clarified before the moving, this would have avoided a lot of stress on our side. Apart from that, movers were very efficient.
