Container Relocations NZ The first company to respond with a ballpark estimate of what it would cost to move our goods from Auckland to Christchurch. The price was competitive - the main reason we chose this company. We received quotes over and above from two other companies. One dislike - we had to pay additional monies for insurance to a third party (insurance broker) as we weren't covered if e.g. the container fell off the boat. This was expensive. We also had to pay additional money for a quicker delivery/ faster service by boat. The physical packing of the container was extraordinary. We also paid to have our goods packed by the company. One downside of this is it was difficult to find things because of the labelling. We just didn't know what was put in each box - e.g. one small item, a set of three was packed in three different boxes. Service to the door was prompt, but communication as to exactly when it would arrive was poor. All in all a fair service, got the job done, no frills, competitive.
