Well moved from start to end It was a great pleasure moving with Abels. They really took time to prepare the move and accompany me from the estimation of our volume to until successful delivery. The price which they asked for was very competitive and fair. The movers themselves have a great service-mindset and also helped us on premise with handling certain items which we didn't consider before. Overall, very well done. I would gladly recommend Abels and surely will use this company again to move somewhere else.

Great service, problem free move. We had a great experience with Abel's, the movers came on schedule (they forgot to call an hour before... but it worked out) and they moved everything problem free. The move took less than a week London - Copenhagen and everything arrived, nothing lost or broken. Please we didn't bother with insurance. Therefore I would recommend Abel's for relocation inter Europe. Thanks again.

Highly professional and courteous staff Everything went very smoothly both the office staff and the moving guys were excellent. They all went the "extra mile" to ensure the highest level of service, from the office staff keeping me informed every step of the way and the moving guys were really helpful and polite. Movers stuffed boxes with paper to meet their estimated volu Initial communication with salesperson was good. Paid deposit and was assigned a move coordinator. Responsiveness dropped markedly and it was a battle to get information or details from them, right up to our move date. We had a tight timeline with needing to catch flights to our new country directly after the movers were scheduled to finish packing. As such, we had packed everything we'd need into suitcases and set them away from items to be packed by the movers. This included our kitchen items as we were no longer staying at the house. We left the movers so they could work without us underfoot and came back to check how things were going a few hours later. We were shocked to see that they had dug through our packed suitcases to find our kettle. I'm fairly easy going, but that made me extremely uncomfortable. Our quote from Abel's was based on estimated volume. I thought the estimate was high, based on previous moves, so I was very surprised when we received an invoice for going over the volume estimate. When our shipment finally arrived, the movers on this end were horrified by the amount of packing materials used to pad out the shipment. They said they had never seen anything like it. Literally a trash mountain. Every box was stuffed with 100s of sheets of packing paper. I believe that when they saw that we didn't have as much "stuff" as estimated, they decided to fill out their time and the boxes . Essentially, they stole from us by lazily filling boxes with paper instead of our belongings and then charging us for excess volume. We complained, but of course, our coordinator was suddenly completely unavailable and management was uninterested. The whole situation fills both of us with rage when we have to think about it. We still have an entire storage room full of paper. Avoid Abel's.

Abels Moving Services The moving industry is certainly caught behind the times. Pricing, communication and accuracy is loose and always required correcting, chasing up or reminding. Our things were collected in February and weren't delivered to our destination until May. Now we are dealing with two items that were mistakenly left behind in the uk. It is now the 1st May and no promise of final delivery yet. A number of boxes that arrived were smashed in. We could go on but it really isn't worth the effort. The only two people worth their salt were the two who did the collection but they couldn't stop telling my wife and I that they were leaving the company because of the way they were treated. We just want it all over and done with really.

As soon as my move was confirmed I was given a contact (Paula) who was coordinating my move. She was brilliant-she liaised with me throughout, was extremely patient and helpful and made a very chaotic time much easier. Upon delivery the men were extremely helpful and communicative and I couldn't speak highly enough of the whole team.
