Mixed emotions I have mixed emotions regarding the service. Half of our glasses (at least 150 pieces) broken. The fragile boxes haven’t been treated with care. There were dents on almost all of those boxes, also boxes suffered some water damage so obviously some stuff inside got damaged of water. Good job I packed our clothes in vacuum bags. The rest was ok.

Moved from Surrey United Kingdom to Christchurch New Zealand The planning process and information process of our move was relatively straight forward, the packers and movers from the UK end were fantastic and so far from what we can see nothing has been damaged in transit. However, the arrival stage wasn't so smooth... There was a lack of information given to the packers when packing our stuff, and it was things we didn't necessarily think about when in the throes of the move. As New Zealand is very strict on the cleanliness of items that potentially could threaten the bio security items such as tents weren't listed as such, these needed to be checked but I couldn't tell from the inventory where they were located in the boxes, luckily I roughly remembered where they were and all went well in the end but it wasn't as easy as it should have been. Also, my husband has imported a Lambretta scooter which Relo UK didn't advise us of the things needed to be done upon arrival and the additional inspection fees etc which we were expected to pay. If we had known all of the additional work we needed to have done which also included many receipts we needed and that we needed to have gotten a site unseen valuation we may have considered not bringing the scooter with us. All in all the experience was pretty good, the UK crew were very slick, but there were a few things that should have been addressed and organised with us before things were loaded into the container which would have made the process a bit easier at this end.

Terrible This company was awful. I got a reasonable quote and the 3 gentlemen came to pack and once left I discovered they had stolen some property. The company denied it and nothing was done. They then gave me a cost for insurance which was so over inflated I refused to pay it however they would not ship my goods until I paid. Was such an awful experience and £1500 inflated. Never use them!

International moving They won't admit any communication mistakes/errors/confusion, but ask customers to swallow it. Their third party company was really irresponsible, leave lots of space in cartoons to make the cartoon deformed when arrival and waste volumes in the cargo. Will not use it anymore.

ReloUK I mainly dealt with Victoria in the office. I found her extremely helpful and knowledgeable and gained my confidence. However, when she wasn’t in the office and I had to deal with someone else , they didn’t appear to be as knowledgeable. Given my goods were due to be collected the morning of the first snow, Charlotte organised an alternative lorry to collect on the day which was very good. Since the goods were collected I’ve had updates as to the progress which I appreciate.

ReloUK Bad experience were still waiting for our sofa legs and bed screws. The number we were given for Australia was incorrect. The people who came to pack our stuff didn't have enough information about the accommodation and furniture and they came 2 hours early 7am when i waz also trying to get kids to school

ReloUK If I could do 0 stars I would. An awful service. We booked for Thursday, they changed to Friday morning as they were short vans. Then they changed that to Friday afternoon at 1pm. The shower up at 4pm and then left early saying their van was full and would need to complete on Saturday (the day we were flying out!). Finish the job Saturday with a few breakages form Friday. Wrong packing material was used which I highlighted resulting in everything needed to be repacked they informed me at their warehouse. Was given at time line of 5-7 days via air freight. It is currently 12 days and our belongings have not even left the UK yet let alone arrive in the US. Thoroughly disappointed overall and would certainly not recommend to anyone.

ReloUK I was very happy with the service and price and always got satisfactory answers to my questions, my items were in storage and I watched the team carefully pack everything.
