A NIGHTMARE !!! If I could give them negative star's I would...AOVID!!!! The company was great at first.... Then closer to my move date they stopped responding to emails and claimed they had called and sent me emails (this did not occur). The day of my move the mover's didn't know where to take my items and tried to over charge me for their time (about 8 hours which was actually 2 hours including driving). Finally I received notice that my shipment was going to be shipped 2 months after the movers came. When my shipment didn't arrive the company had no clue only to find out I had a outstanding balance of 1,800 that they never sent a invoice for and contained wrong charges so after multiple international calls and me having to do their job by providing them with a copy of my phone bill to prove the movers times at my house, I finally got my items shipped. So once my items arrive 4.5 months after they left my house they were damaged. Someone must of dropped the pallet and I am still waiting a month later for the insurance company to respond to my emails to pay for my damages which ishipitright is taking no responsibility for or helping in anyway to get it resolved. DO NOT BOOK!!!! Don't make the same mistake I did.

Absolute Disaster All went well until I had paid all money. Then they started demanding extra money for delivery unloading etc etc the quote was for all inclusive except customs in England. I ended up paying an extra £2000. They refused to pay the removal company in England where I have in writing they will pay the costs. Xiomara refuses to take my calls or answer my e mails. Stay well away from them as they claim they are transparent but once they have your stuff they say pay this or that or you won't get your stuff. I have everything in writing so they can't say anything different. Don't be fooled like I was that all inclusive apart from what was mentioned not included means exactly that. With this company it doesn't. Plus to have in writing they will pay removal and unloading costs then they refuse is so unprofessional. Don't do business with them.

25 boxes + couple pieces of furniture. I've packed my boxes and wanted the shipping company to take care of my couch and side table. I told ishipit that I'm not too fond of surprises and need to be informed of all charges up front, which other companies don't do. Ishipit then sends me a detailed quote with all the prices. Their team showed up with wrapping materials and a custom skid to place my boxes and furniture in on the move day. Then the truck picked it up the next day. Everything arrived the way it left my house after five weeks. Quoted $2798 Insurance cost $201 Total paid $2999 (with insurance)

Unprofessional Shipment arrived late, poorly packaged, and damaged. Parts of my shipment were temporarily lost in transit and then were suddenly dropped on my doorstep without advance warning. Poor communication from the shipper throughout the process. They appear to be a poorly organized and unprofessional operation. Their price was competitive, but evidently you get what you pay for with this outfit.

Worst company ever, nothing but crooks and thieves Hands down the worse moving company ever. They hired our company Ogre Man Movers to do a job for them as they could not do the job themselves, they had us load a shipping container which was 5 feet off the ground with no ramp, I called the manager Lyubov S, and stated there would be a $200 fee to load furniture into this truck with no ramp. She agreed and paid and then as soon as the job was complete they cancelled payment. Hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. Then when I called in to rectify the situation they blocked my number and ran away. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER

San Rafael, Ca to London, UK Fine until they do something wrong - iShipitRight managed to damage the container during shipping (the container took a knock, presumably during unloading or loading), damaging a number of the contents, including a bed, table, chairs, and a bookcase, costing more than $2,000 to repair/ replace. Despite admitting liability over the phone and telling me they would forward the claim to their insurance company, they never progressed this, despite multiple re-assurances from their staff (in particular, Xiomara Rivera). AVOID THIS COMPANY, EVEN IF THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST.

Satisfied beyond my expectation! Due to covid, we had to move all our furniture into storage a catch the first flight to England. We hired ishipitright because they are local and knowledgeable. They open my storage (I was already in UK) and walked me through a video call to see what I wanted to ship and what needed to discard. It felt like I was present there with them. ishipitright team packed and wrapped all my furniture, and repacked my boxes. Container arrived 3 weeks later, and everything was just like on our video call. Thank you for all of your help with my unusual move.

Amateur ishipitright offered a very competitive quote. Once we had agreed to go with them it became apparent how thinly staffed they are. My emails would go un answered, their communication was terrible and I realized that they effectively source everything out. So the container company are different to the trucking company, who are differerent to the moving company who are different to the shipping company etc. etc. I ended up having to deal with each of these parties myself instead of just dealing with ishipit. When the moving company in the UK opened the container they said it was one of the worst packed containers they saw. Several pieces of furniture were damaged because too many heavy things were stacked on them. Items weren't wrapped properly etc. Please avoid this company and pay a little extra

Affordable, Easy and Fast. I usually do not write a review on companies that provide services, but in this case, I'm pleasantly satisfied by this company. Iship was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but was right at my budget level. I've shipped my boxes and some light furniture to London. Iship provides all my boxes and packing materials and received them a week after putting my deposit down. Pallets arrived at my parent's house on the schedule that was provided, the same way it left my home in Florida. Overall I'm happy with choosing Iship for my move to London.

Clusterf*ck This has been the WORST EXPERIENCE we have had. Our move was from Austin TX to Spain. It started with them not picking up our shipping on the day we scheduled. After mane frustrating calls they finally picked it up 3 days later. When it was received in Spain. It went to the wrong destination and sat with customs for 3 weeks before it was strained out. If I had to do it over, I would NOT use I Ship It Right. I guess you don’t get what you pay for! Heed my advice and don’t use them!

NIGHTMARE This company is a nightmare! It couldn't get worse! I don't know how they even call themselves a company and how many fake reviews it took to get their rating up to 7.0 because there's no way they deserve more than one. If I knew they were this awful I'd have much prefered to spend 10 times more money than they asked for than go through all this nightmare they put us through! As soon as we paid them, they stopped emailing back and when they did they were never helpful they would only make things worse. After about a month they decided to ship our cargo and when that happened they told us they couldn't deliver to our country! Even though the address on the documents was in our country where they told us they could ship to without any problems in the beginning! When our shipment was in the middle of the ocean, they decided to tell us that our shipment in fact is going to an other country of their choice that's close to us. And there was nothing we could do. It took 4 months for our shipment to arrive in the destination of their choice because apparently it was going all around the globe a few times until they decided to realease our shipment in some random country close to us, there is no other explanation why it took so long. And of course during all this time there was no communication whatsover other than 2 or 3 times where they were asking for some more documents which later on those documents cause us even more trouble since the company has no idea what's needed. There was obviously no tracking number for us to look up our shipment because why would we need to know where our belongings are during those 4 months. However they were nice enough to make up some random numbers to lie to us with and tell us we don't know how to look it up. Somehow, after those 4 months they managed to move our things to the country of their choice. Because of COVID we couldn't even go to that country and pick up the shipment ourselves so we just asked if they could at least find someone to transport it to us and we would gladly pay more if we had to even though it was all their fault from the beginning. They said they would look into it and see what they can do. We waited a few weeks, got an email from them that said they're still trying to look for someone and after that they never emailed back no matter how much we tried. Not only they left our shipment in an other country and didn't even help with transportation from there but they hadn't even payed anything in that country for us to be able to just find someone to transport our shipment to us. We had to pay local taxes, the warehouse and customs TWICE because of what they did! So now just to transport our things from our neighbor country to us, the actual final destination, we are having to pay more than we originally payed them! Our customs broker told us about all their mistakes and advised us to get a refund. But of course they didn't reply to any of the emails. This company is a joke! They probably forgot about the fake reviews they wrote themselves and thought they were actually good. Well, here's a real review! You are terrible! You can't do your job right and it just doesn't get more unprofessional. So just give up! This job is definitely not for you guys! Maybe try Starbucks or something? You might do better there. I can even look up for different jobs for all of you since this one is just not the one for you. "IShip It Right" more like "IDump your things in a random country and you do whatever Right"

Very good price - so so in timing - solution-oriented & fair Friendly solution-oriented people with a great price, but some deficits. Challenges in communication when to come pick it up. It was changed several times but we were not informed. Delivery was over a month later and hard to tell what was due to CoVid. Delay was not communicated. Despite the delay we were charged extra for air freight without communicating the change from boat. However, in the end it was, after some emails, sorted solution-oriented and with a refund. I would recommend them if you are looking for the best price and are prepared to put some effort and time into making sure it all works as agreed.

Amazing My husband and I were due to fly to Florida from our home in England to organise the shipment of our furnisher and personal possessions. Our trip was cancelled due to Covid-19. We researched companies online, and after speaking with a considerable amount, decided on I Ship it Right. Our circumstances and preferences were acknowledged and carried out. Everything was wrapped, loaded and shipped efficiently and effectively. The times and dates of the shipping itinerary from pick up to delivery at our door were adhered to, no changes or delays. All our possessions were intact and damaged. Organisation and communication from this company was excellent. Our questions were answered promptly via email and/or telephone. We now have the American life we experienced, within our home in England. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend I Ship it Right for International Shipping.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We haven't moved in 20 years and have no idea what to expect. As my husband and I are getting older, it was time for us to go back to England to be with our grandkids. Then Andre from ishipitright helped us on our journey. 40 ft container was suggested for our four-bedroom home. The crew packed our whole house in one day, WOW! So they said they would send me a new container quote. But they never did. Now I moved to Germany and I don't have a bed, my clothes, or any if my things.

Good experience moving to Germany - please read We shipped our personal items from San Francisco to Berlin, Germany. We reached out to the company and Andrej responded quickly. We talked about what we have to ship and he understood the situation perfectly. Unlike other people that move between continents we only had to ship 11 standard boxes. Every single other of the 10 quotes we received recommended ocean freight. Prices for those quotes came out at around $1500-$3500. Andrej from Ishipitright was the only Agent I talked to who recommended air freight. He said air freight will be cheaper for the small amount we are shipping and faster. He quoted us $1000. After doing more research we didn’t find a single company that could beat their offer. Plus air freight is much faster and will only take a week or two from drop off in San Francisco until pick up in Germany. We decided to go ahead and work with them. Andrej sent me a few forms that I had to sign using DocuSign. About two days later Xiomara from Ishipitright contacted me to set everything else up. She talked me through the necessary steps, the most important thing being a super accurate shipping item list in German and English. At the same time ishipitright requested a $500 deposit to start the process with I paid immediately. I spoke to Xiomara and agreed to drop off our boxes on a specific date at a company close to SFO. We were asked to label all of our boxes and make sure the shipping list was 100% accurate and complete. By that I mean to the smallest item. German customs are very picky and precise. Our item list even included items like usb charging cables. You need to make sure to have every item listed, the correct amount and value. We dropped off our boxes a few days later. That worked out just fine. A few days later we flew to Germany and emailed Xiomara to get an update. She told us that the shipment was dropped off and they started processing it and that we will receive the boxes in around two weeks. At the same time I received the final invoice and payment request for another $570 totaling $1070 which was very close to what was quoted initially. I paid $570 and the rest went it’s way. Since the final amount is based on weight Andrej did the best he could. Our shipment arrived in Germany just as promised and we were contacted by German customs to pick up our stuff and bring the necessary paperwork which is my passport, shipping list in German, my German Anmeldungsbestätigung (registration confirmation), and the form 0350 from German customs for moving goods (Übersiedlungsgut). The later I had to fill out myself. Again I can only recommend to be 110% honest and accurate. German customs will be very suspicious if something looks fishy. Usually airport charge a storage fee per weight and per day. That means you have to pick up ASAP. Since we picked up on day 1 we only paid 36€. For our 150kg shipment every day 36€ in storage is added if you don’t pick up. Make three copies of all documents before you go to pick everything up since the customs officer will need 3 copies of everything. The whole process took about an hour and our shipment was waived through. We didn’t pay taxes or custom duties since it was declared moving goods. All in all we are super happy to have chosen Ishipitright. From the first phone call with Andrej to working with Xiomara it went flawlessly. Andrej is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice. Xiomara was thorough and nice to work with. The only advice I have to future customers. Contact the customs in the country of destination and find out as much as you can. It will help you later and most importantly safe time and money. Don’t approach and international move with the mindset “it’s going to work out” and they will do everything for me. They can‘t. You have to take care of customs and a few other things. Be thorough and do you homework and follow the instructions of the shipper.

Horrible This company should change their name to I Ship it wrong. Nothing went right. The whole process was a nightmare. They quoted $7100.00 and ended up charging almost $3,000.00 more. They left some of my belongings behind and my daughter had to pay more than $2000.00 to bring it to me. A lot of my things were severely damaged and had to be thrown away. They don't offer insurance to cover damages so I had to absorb the losses. I would not reccomend this company to anyone. I would say to anyone using this company ***BEWARE**"

IShipItRight is now saved in my phone as IShipItWrong. My short review is: IShipItRight succeeded in my move in that most of my shipment eventually arrived, however damaged. Communication was absolutely abysmal after I paid the fee. Longer review: I spoke with a sales individual on July 18 and requested my shipment arrive the first week of September. Other movers quoted 5-7 weeks for my shipment from Houston to London, IShipItRight quoted only 3 weeks. I stated that that's impossible but they insisted it would arrive in 3 weeks and that I should request my shipment be picked up on August 18 so I would be sure not to incur additional storage fees in London due to my home not being ready. I agreed and paid a $500 deposit to "secure" my dates. I then sent a follow-up email requesting pickup on August 11 because all indications were that three weeks was impossible. July 26, I phoned and sent emails because I had received no communication or contract aside from my credit card being charged $500. July 30, received email from "ops" apologizing for lack of communication. August 2, I sent an inventory list, photos, and dimensions to "ops" and confirmed that my delivery was to be to the second floor of a London flat. August 7, I received confirmation from "ops" for an August 14 pickup with the name of the movers. August 14, "Ops" confirmed pickup would be in the morning and informed me that it was "curb side" and would need to be outside for the movers to pick up (this was not agreed in advance, the movers should have (and would have) picked up from inside the house). Mid-morning, I called the moving company and they had no record of my move. "Ops" indicated it was a miscommunication and the moving company eventually arrived at 3:30pm. The movers were not told that the shipment was for delivery to a shipping warehouse and items were not appropriately packed. September 3, (three weeks after pickup) - recieved confirmation that shipment had finally been crated and ETA was now September 30. September 26, (six weeks after pickup), received an updated preview bill of lading October 2, (7 weeks after pickup), received "arrival" notice from a different shipping company with a new ETA of October 9. October 16, (9 weeks after pickup), received confirmation that shipment had been uncrated but not cleared customs. October 21/22, (10 weeks after pickup), received e-mail from "Ops" stating that I was responsible for "extra" fees from final relocation service. Fees were paid by IShipItRight after many hours of negotiation. October 30, (11 weeks after pickup), shipment finally arrived and was extremely dirty and certain items had been destroyed due to improper packing. IShipItRight has acknowledged that my shipment did not go to plan but have thus far refused any compensation or partial refund due to their utter incompetence. If you're tempted to use IShipItRight, I would either look elsewhere or try to organize it yourself. You could literally not do a worse job than IShipItRight. I hope this review doesn't sound too punitive, but I have a packet with more details, including emails, phone calls, and photos that prove everything in this review. The final moving company has offered to assist me if I wish to peruse IShipItRight in court because of their lack of professionalism.

40 Ft Container My move to Bristol was exceptional. Iship it right crew came and packed my house on Monday and loaded everything on Tuesday. Received my 40 FT container in England 28 days later. I'm not planning on moving again, but if we will, I would definitely use them.

Seeing my Dad happy with his cars was Amazing They helped me Move My Dads Classic Cars. They Set them up with there own 40 foot container. They took good care loading our parents belongings and the vehicles. My dads a grumpy old man, so it was nice to see him Happy. Terrible experience The shipper did not check the agent being responsible for customs clearance in destination country. The company they wanted me to contact with did not exist for a year. I had to find out who to contact with by myself because the shipper did not answer phone calls. If they answered the phone they never gave me any information, promised to call me back and never did. Just pay a little bit more to somebody else and save yourself from all the stress when your stuff is stuck in the port and no-one cares.

Terrible! We payed 10000$ more in Germany. Our cars wasn’t on the bill of lading, so the customers declined the container. Also on our contract we paid from Atlanta to our residents in Germany. On the end, the container was in Hamburg and we had to pay the transport to our residents.

Moving to Spain Since the first call everything run easy and smooth, even after scheduling done we had some issues and they answer with respect, they hold the process until we were ready again. Our packages were in Spain quickly, safe and no a single item was broken. The communication with the office in U.S.A. as well as the office in Spain was fluid. They provide information of every stage of our embark and finally the delivery was done professionally. We congratulate our self for selected iShip it Right and recommend to everybody.

Met my expectations! I was a little nervous in the beginning to go with ishipitright, but they assured me that they would take really good care of me and they did! I received my boxes in a timely manner without any damages. They might not be the cheapest but surely the most honest.

Fraudulent Discovered fake reviews on Facebook. How did I find out they were fake? I contacted two of those that posted and they said they were part of a marketing firm ishipitright hired to post reviews. This former employee also stated it was their common practice and the majority of their reviews were fraudulent. Look at the profiles of the people "reviewing" and then their friends lists. You will see the pattern. Disappointed. Real reviews showed they have terrible communication and many unexpected fees that they were told were "rare"

Amazing company! Everyone in the various departments who were involved in the process of shipping my pallet with personal items door to door from the US to Germany was professional and courteous. Questions were answered in a timely manner and I was very satisfied with the entire procedure. I would definitely recommend I Ship It Right for any one's shipping needs.

We paid more as we had on our contract. We had big trouble in Germany to get our container. We need a x ray and our container was a long time in storage and we had to pay for it. Almost 5000$ more.

Very Knowledgeable and Affordable I enjoyed working with the staff at iShip it Right. They helped me with all the the documents I needed and answered every question i had. We had a 5 bedroom house with many pieces of furniture. Crew came out and wrapped up all my furniture and loaded our 40 foot container the same day. they took such good care when wrapping my furniture i was amazed. All my belongings came to my new home in london in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that wants a stress free move.

Very dissatisfied We selected this company among the various quotes we received because they gave the best price quote and shipment times. Both proved to be wrong. We arranged a quote based on an estimated amount, and a pick up date with the company. A different company arrived to pick up the items on the established date, and called us later that day saying that when they arrived at the iShip it Right warehouse, it had already been closed for the day. And we had to pay extra for the pallets to be stored in their facility overnight for them to go back to the iShip it Right warehouse for delivery. This caused an initial delay, and we also had to pay upfront for this unexpected night of storage in a different facility. iShip it Right determined the pick up date, they should have known and had waited for the items to arrive in their warehouse before closing, or communicated to us and the third party company an alternative. Following receipt we got an updated invoice based on the exact amount and weight of the items that was over $1,000 the initial budget. We paid the difference and waited for communication that the shipment was on its way. We were then contacted by the corresponding shipping company in Hamburg handling the arrival of the shipment, confirming it was on its way but it was on hold and we needed to contact iShip it Right to determine why. iShip it Right did not communicate anything to us regarding the tracking of the shipment nor the reason for the hold. After several emails and calls we were still not able to determine the reason of the hold as we kept receiving conflicting information but finally received confirmation from the corresponding freight company in Hamburg that the shipment was arriving at their facility. There the transaction was passed to a Swiss freight company that would handle the customs and transportation to our destination in Lugano. We paid the customs fees with them (another $500) and provided all the documentation they requested right away, even though we had already sent a lot of forms to iShip it Right and they should have handled everything. The Swiss Freight company finally confirmed that the shipment was arriving on November 22nd, but could not provide an approximate time. I took the day off to be there, and we waited all day, but no shipment arrived. Finally at 4:00 PM I called the Swiss freight company, and after being put on hold three times indefinitely, calling back 3 times, speaking to 2 different people, we were contacted by a 4th company that operates locally that the shipment would arrive the next day between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. At this point I could no longer take another day off with such short notice and my mother, who is the recipient of the shipment, was left alone to wait for it. The driver arrived at 9:30 AM by himself, and even though the entrance to the building is very large as well as the elevator, he was unable to get the two pallets in, and wanted to leave them on the curb. That was of course unacceptable since my elderly mother could not be expected to dismantle two pallets and carry 47 boxes to the apartment by herself. She as able to convince the driver to drop off the pallets in the garage with the help of some local businessmen, and she tipped everyone generously. We will now dismantle the pallets and carry the boxes from there on our own. Overall the shipment arrived over a week late than the agreed-upon delivery date. We are very dissatisfied with the level of service of all companies involved, especially having to deal with 4 different companies, received very little direct communication, and having to constantly call for more information ourselves. We are dissatisfied with having overpaid by almost $2000 beyond the initial agreed-upon budget. We have written a complaint to the Swiss freight company and will now write a complaint to iShip it Right. We don't recommend you include this company in your list of available shipping services in the future.
