We hired Comtrans Comfort to move from Aachen to Munich. The initial phone conversation and quotation were satisfactory. A Comtrans employee in Aachen failed to properly wrap items and they packed everything in boxes without any reasoning and did not even inspect fragile stuff. When unpacking in Munich, they were so disrespectful and unprofessional that they attempted to cover up scratches on the furniture with a white marker. We even took a video of it. It was quite annoying. Numerous items in the boxes were damaged. There were numerous scratches on the furnishings. The closet doors failed to close properly after assembly. What was even more frustrating was that they requested for our signature for visible damage occurred during transportation, to show that the damage was already present. The company did not evaluate our claim because we took more than 7 days to report the damage. However, the primary goods destroyed were discovered on the day of the move, and the company is not accepting responsibility for this and directing it to insurance (SVG-Kravag). The insurance company claims that we have received no confirmation from Comtrans, and we are locked in a loop. It's been almost a year and Mr Becker has not responded. Conclusion: extremely unprofessional, not recommended at all, and I wish I could change my decision.

Brexit leaving the UK moving to Germany I needed to leave the UK because of Brexit end of December 2020. Many removal companies refused to do that at all because of Brexit uncertainty. On the top fo that Covid 19 and French have closed the border completely for two days 23rd Dec. I needed to move 3 bed house with a lot of antiques furniture, porcelain and other fragile items including some garden plants. Comtrans have packed, loaded and moved all well and in agreed times and dates. Comtrans dealt with all brilliantly. Perfect communications and they even had altrenative plans prepared with local UK transport company and storage if needed for me. Good news Grench have opnened the border and the German truck has arrived and moved me to safety back to the EU out of the Brexit infected island. Happy end. Comtrans are great company highly recomended.
