Really appalling service. The administration prior to the uplift was poor - customs forms which I was meant to complete were overlooked and not sent in a timely way; on the day of the uplift Allied had subcontracted to another local company (although I was not informed that this would be happening) who sent insufficient, and untrained, staff which I had to deal with and negotiate with the a manager on the day. I signed, and paid for, a contract for the consignment to be moved to the UK within a 10 to 16 week time period. After 10 weeks I contacted my ‘move consultant’ to be told that it is still in New Zealand awaiting loading. As my work and earning capability depend upon some of the items in my shipment I am really unhappy about the customer service and care I have received. Despite direct requests for information I still have no idea when my goods will be loaded onto a ship, or when I can expect my shipment to arrive. I have paid the full removal fee in advance and have already relocated internationally so have no option other than to stay with Allied. The only reason that I have ticked the ‘no’ box regarding damage to goods is that I haven’t yet received them to assess this. Considering how things have gone so far I have very little confidence in Allied wouldn’t be at all surprised if I find that quite a few of my goods have been damaged in transit. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone else.

Everything was good until a different container to teh one we packed turned up in the UK. They transferred our items from the container loaded at our house to another shipping container, which was Not explained as part of the deal. In the process they managed to lose 2 boxes and never made an attempt to locate them or apologise. So they do NOT live up to their motto as "the careful movers'! I do not recommend

Recently used Allied when moving from NZ to Japan.Pretty bad experience. The lift up guys forgot to bring boxes for clothing- promised that they will pack the clothing fine, all my suits and shirts arrived completely wrinkled. Pottery piece was packed only in paper and put together with other stuff-of course it arrived broken to pieces. The so-called Moving Consultant who is supposed to provide personal support is located off shore- God knows where. Occasionally she wasn't available, then overcharged me for extra weight, then promised a refund and then forgot to process it for over a month. Allied Japan was fine-really professional and a pleasure to deal with, but Allied NZ is a company to stay away from.

The overall expereince was good, the team was professional and timely. We had some issues with miscommunication between their internal teams which lead to some momentary pain. The team who came to deliver our goods in the destination country was not customer-friendly though.

Totally f*cked Donot ever use this company. Really bad and dishonest people. Staff are not reliable. Dont believe anything they say. I have received a date for move, the day before i realised they not booked me in their diary. Tried to take it higher, look like there is no manager or owner you can take this too.

From Otaki, New Zealand to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico The container was delayed due to Covid-19 So I was concerned that goods may have got mildew or mould but everything was perfect after 5 months in storage/shipping etc. I highly recommend Allied Pickford and the Mexican Agent Gou. VERY Disappointed Two small cartons to be shipped to UK. Lost in transit in NZ. They were unable to locate them. I would have thought an agent for Pickfords would have adequate paperwork to trace items quickly but no. Communication with clients is poor. I would never use these agents again.

Disapointing Lost a large armchair which was worth $3000. Didn't get ticked off as being in the consignment from Auckland yet no communication with us to say it was unaccounted for and what they were doing about it. Goods arrive in Mooloolaba Australia minus the chair. Very poor communication since and still no chair.

Allied Pickfords - New Zealand I have not yet had my goods delivered, but each time I have made contact via email or phone, I have received up to date info & progress with regards to expected date of arrival & delivery of my belongings. Today I phoned, & my personal belongings are being delivered next Thursday. I am very happy with Allied Pickford's and would choose them again, if ever I move interstate or over seas. Allied Pickfords - New Zealand Very good up front service, only company to visit and view products to be shipped. One of two companies that made multiple personal contacts and price was with $100 of other company (Crown). However - very disappointed that two months after my furniture was collected it has not yet been shipped from Dunedin. For $140 extra my other quote would have delivered to Perth address by 10 January 2017.

Allied Pickfords - New Zealand I have used Allied Pickfords before, and found them very satisfactory, The guys who came to pack up in NZ were great, The ones in Australia when delivered, couldn't wait to get out, got to the door and said oh do u want us to unpack anything? I just said no don't worry about it, I also had to ring up 3 times to get my boxes picked up, they finally came and picked them up.
